Today we are proud home owners!

Well, we’ve done it! Several years of planning and thousands of dollars later… We are now the proud owners of our own home! N was bummed that we had no “sold” sign to pose with out on the front lawn though… We may just have to stage it anyway, kind of like this:

We went in for closing this morning with Everly in tow. I had to breast feed her during the signing of the documents too. I wonder if that was a first for the title agent.

Our house payment is going to be over $200 LESS than what we were renting the place for too! Buying down 2 points and having a decent down payment was the key.

Everly is 22 weeks old today too. Things have been busy here… With the back and fourth trying to close, the parenting a newborn and my job transition it’s been an emotional roller coaster. Oh, yeah Thanksgiving is just over a week away too.

Sigh. Now we are home owners, new parents and newlyweds… I know I’ve said it before, it’s been a big year for us!

I am gonna go jump in the bath and try to unwind a bit while E’s sleeping and N’s at work. Gotta relax when you can right?
