I thought the heart-shaped leaves was the real deal--Morning Glory. I bought and planted mine last year, but it never came back...now I'm seeing those little telltale hearts everywhere. Looks like I'd better get busy pulling weeds!

I love gardening, there is something so soothing about it. I'm sorry you're going to have to move from your home and leave some of your precious plants behind. It looks like you are quite the green thumb though, so I'm sure you'll have things growing in your new garden soon.

It is possible to SLOW the bind weed. Cover everything you don't want to kill with plastic or a sheet. With GLOVED hands and a paintbrush, paint the bind weed leaves (top and bottom) with Round-Up. It'll slow the growth, but it NEVER makes it all the way to the root structure which is extremely large and runs for hundreds of yards.

But you're in a rental that you'll be leaving in 70 days. I'd leave it. Pretty pink flowers. ha ha ha

BIND WEED! The little heart shaped leaves, the pretty little pink flowers. Cousin to morning glory. Will climb, suffocate and kill anything it gets its little vines around. IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of. Really harsh herbicides don't even kill it. I've found that pulling it on a semi-daily basis is all I can do. Round-Up will kill whatever else is near it.

My peonies are just today blooming. I'm so excited. I've got several dozen rose buds getting ready, as well as coreopsis, clematis. My yard is fixin' to explode with flowers. I can't wait.

I can't tell what veggies are growing, but everything looks fabulous! You're doing a great job. I failed miserable at growing green beans a few years back.

I just recently started gardening...kind of. Only I got frustrated and ended up calling my mother,on the verge of a panic attack!! I haven't really been interested in flowers before, but now that we have a house, I'm trying to make it "ours". Anyway, your pictures are beautiful. And if I was to try guess which veggie was which, I would probably have another panic attack:)

It is hard to leave your garden behind in rentals, but I like to think I am leaving a gift for the next people.
