Okay so you know how potatoes that sit in a cupboard to long begin to sprout?? Well, I was bored and sort of curious about growing potatoes so I grabbed the one with the most sprouts and planted it in a pot! It seems to be doing great with all its sprouts and leaves! I have to admit I really don’t know what to expect next though.. If anyone has ever done this and knows please post me a comment and let me know about your experience!!

Other than growing potatoes I am heading up an informative newsletter that is stemming from this blog and my business site. If you are interested please subscribe via my yahoo group. I am planning to post motivational writings, home & gardening advice and much more! You can visit The Custom Gifts by Talina Newsletter to subscribe.
I am also working on getting Blog Tour 2006 under way. If you know of a great blog or site please send your recommendations my way . I will begin writing about and providing links to many of the best places for useful information on a variety of topics. If you are an author or blog owner and want to participate click here!

Back in April I decided to try an experiment with some sprouted potatoes that we re in the pantry. Four months later I have a handful of baby potatoes and I am pretty surprised!! They are small and I am not quite sure if it is because the container was too small or if I needed to let them grow more.. Regardless I am happy!! I have nine of my own home grown potatoes so I did something right! [...]
