Our car is dead and we are stranded!

Well things are a messed up with us! I got down to phoenix to pick N up and ring him home, we spent some time hanging out with family and were all loaded up and ready to head up the hill and be home. When we turned the car on it made a banging sound and we checked the oil thinking it was low on oil or something.

After topping off the oil we pulled out of my parents driveway got to the bottom of the hill and the car turned off. Our car is a Nissan Maxima that is computer controlled so when it just powers off we know something is wrong. So now we are stuck at my moms house with a broken car.

We booked a rental and am having the car towed to my parents mechanic to see what is wrong with the car. We are stressing about how much all this is going to cost and am staying the night at my moms house tonight. With no change of clothes, no toothbrush, no new underwear nothing! I am a bit pissy right now!

'Tis not good to be pissy without a change of underwear.

I hope you get good news on the car, ie., less than $100 repair bill. I've never had one of those... but one can always hope.
