All I can say is that the "on" switch is not located near the "off" switch. The "off" switch is so easy to find, but the "on" switch is practically invisible... and I think magnetically fluid. Every time you think you are close to finding it, it slides just beyond reach.

This would make more sense if, in the 34 years since the birth of my first child, I'd ever been able to find the "on" switch.

Or possibly, if you were able to consume several alcoholic beverages, it might also make more sense.

I believe its the parent syndrome. I've been dealing with it for 15 years! It never seems to go away. Just when I think I have something all taken care of, something new pops up to take its place. You just get better at juggling everything :)

Everytime you write, it's like I'm reading my own thoughts.

I'm sick of my brain not being able to function properly and I have to go back to Uni in a few weeks, I'm scared I wont be able to study at all.

I take multivitamins because I thought breastfeeding was taking it out of me but it doesnt seem to be helping, I'm always tired and lack motivation.

Today I set my alarm so I could get up early and do some housework and I feel better for it, but I still feel like I haven't had any sleep!

Well, I don't know what it's called in the States, but here in Canada, it's called normal new parent syndrome! I go through it too, but in my case it's called "too much housecoat" syndrome. The alarm here goes off at 4am, up gets my 'other' who grumbles for the next hour before heading out. I get stuff done that I was too exhausted to do the night before, then get the granddaughter up and take her to school. Since it is only a block away, I just wear sweats, sleepshirt and jacket. Once home, if I throw my housecoat back on, I am toast! I go into deadbrain zone, and sit with coffee and facebook and lose track of time, lol. If I get up and get dressed, I am good to go, so I think my housecoat has a hex on it. Good luck flicking the switch, but we all deserve a power failier now and again!
