Exciting news… Presenting Ryder 2.0 (again)

I am well aware of how early it is still but since we’ve gotten past the point we were at last time…

and since I am an over-sharer and some of you have already guessed…

We are pregnant again.

We actually got pregnant the cycle of my miscarriage. Technically 7 days after bleeding stopped. Fate? I guess so because we were thinking…

Oh, my body must be all messed up after the miscarriage and there is no way we will get pregnant right away.

I figured it would take a few cycles before I was back on track and we could discuss trying again if we wanted to. But now it is all decided for us.

We are 7 weeks pregnant again. Feeling WAY more symptoms than last time too. I guess that is a good sign for 2.0 but it means I feel like crap 24/7.

Apparently, in instances where miscarriage is no reflection of the health of the parents. When it’s most likely a result of chromosomal abnormalities or improper implantation some think fertility is increased following this kind of miscarriage. Guess our new pregnancy is a sort of proof of that.

So, I am keeping myself rested and taking it easy. Hopefully this pregnancy will make it. Like I said before, if my symptoms are any indication this baby should stay put. Fingers are crossed.

*now excuse me, I think I may puke.*

No doubt there will be more stinky in our future! Double the diapers, double the fun...haha. I'm already betting my money on a boy because this time around, the symptoms are much different. Then again, maybe it's just a much different girl than Everly is :-)

Heh, I feel odd saying "congratulations on the puking", but! Congratulations on the puking!

I'm super excited for you and N and am thinking sticky thoughts. (also, my phone attempted to autocorrect sticky into stinky... I hope there is little stinky in your lives!)

Congrats!!! I feel like I am experiencing deja vu. A friend of mine miscarried her second pregnancy and then got pregnant the same cycle as her miscarriage just like you. Crazy.

I had wondered but thought you would likely announce when you felt comfortable...excellent that you are feeling pukey....except for the reality of the nausea and mothering I suppose. *hugs* Thriled for you guys!
