Everly’s first meal and laugh: Vlog milestones share

After she basically snatched my fork from my hand during breakfast we gave her a baby spoon to chew on and occupy her. Amazingly she knew exactly what the spoon was for and didn’t mind it being in her mouth, she was licking and sucking it like crazy.

She’s been super interested in the eating and drinking process as she sees us doing it and we knew her interest was a good sign that she’s ready to start testing the waters.

I had just pumped some breast milk before sitting down to breakfast so we had some to make up her first very runny batch of baby cereal and we got the camera out.

We thought it went very well! She’s one eager beaver, lol. We are gonna take it super slow though. I am in no rush to wean her. Shoot! We are really gonna need a diaper sprayer now that she’s taking solids… Boo.

Also, here she is back on Nov 7th when she first laughed in front of both of us. She’s accidentally giggled her and there but this was her first full on laugh while being played with. The video is kind of dark but you can still hear the sweet sound.

So those are our big November milestones!

  Thank you so MUCH for letting me see and hear E laugh and eat! What a lovely child she is!

  My granddaughter’s first solid food got put off until she was a bit older so Daddy could be there to take part. (Really bad part of Army life!) but seeing this video of E has brought back so many memories and such joy!

  There aren’t many people I go to the trouble of trying to get my speakers to work for, so be sure and tell Everly how special she is that I do so to hear her laugh.

  Awww….I loved the first tme I fed Emily. She is a 2 feeds a day girl now. Plus breastmilk. Plus formula. And she is a skinny little thing!!!
