Can wine soothe us and is the blog dying? Midnight blogging is the best!

Maybe my post titles just sum things up and leave no point to read or comment, maybe the topic directions are in the shitter. Either way I am finding myself less and less motivated to blog these days.

Of course the time and brain cells to do so are severely lacking… and I now have two kiddos to care for… that seem to both be teething right now…

Stuff is happening, there is not shortage of madness to report… and Adalyn is growing like a champ so there are always updates about the kids but is mommy blogging really where I want to be right now?

Basically, it is 11:23 pm. I’ve just done over 2 hours of virtual assistant work for clients. My girls are asleep, so is Nathan and I have finally unwound enough to realize my own thoughts and feelings swirrling around in my head.

Parenting is funny like that, it basically takes the thoughts and feelings right out of ya. Rather, it leaves you no time, energy or brain power to acknowledge them anymore and so you forget they every existed in the first place… or something like that.

… and editing blog posts so they are grammatically correct and following a fluid train of thought is LAME SAUCE these days. Heck, now that I’ve started writing this jumble of brain dump I feel much more motivated to blog…

… and yes I love my dot, dot, dot trailing thought action – so shoot me :)

In other news, I did write a sane and somewhat structured article that was a guest posted over here about Eating locally for Thanksgiving. See I am not a total writing failure.

Everly is working on her top pair of 2yr molars so she’s real emotional about everything, like trying to put her shoes on over the footie PJ’s and such. She cries about anything she can’t manage to do and she wont let anyone help her out.

Hold that thought a moment while Nathan rolls over to wipe his drool and scowl at me… assumably for still being awake and on the computer in bed next to him. Sorry dude, not everyone can just crash without a care in the world. I was a slave to my kids and house all day. God forbid I need a little adult time, even if it is all lonely like here with my computer screen and blog.

Anyway, Adalyn is doing well and we are all settled in as a family of four now. She seems to be working on the two top teeth at just nine weeks old. Her mood has changed a bit as has her nursing patterns. Also, her gum area is all inflamed and white looking now. Poor girl. I am contemplating drinking wine 24/7 to help soothe us through the teething madness (joking of course).

We ended up taking Everly trick or treating this year, it was her first time! It was quite memorable. We also put Addie in a pumpkin for pictures :) I’m still editing those though so I’ll post them soon.

Okay, well I had better try to get some sleep now. The laptop battery is about to die. Hope you enjoyed my brain dump and were able to make some sense of it.

Please feel free to do some brain dumpage of your own in the comments, just the first thing that you think of after finishing this paragraph. Heck, I brain dumped on you, be sure to return the favor!
