Breastfeeding and teething fun at 3 months old

Well, it is official! Everly is NOT a happy camper about this tooth thing. It’s a whole different kind of fussy, irritable baby these days. Luckily she’s still comforted by and willing to breastfeed, despite the mouth pain.

I am just glad something is still able to soothe her, almost everything we try fails to comfort her right now. This means I’ve been breastfeeding all the time, everywhere we go. See:

Feeding while shopping at the mall in Nashville.

Normally I’ll feed with a nursing cover on. I am modest and understand how breastfeeding might make someone feel uncomfortable if my boob was all exposed… but today I walked right out of our hotel room with my shirt pulled up feeding E without a cover on.

The housekeeping guy was camped outside our room tapping his foot and being rude because we hadn’t checked out yet. N was clearly loading the car up and we were in the process of vacating the room, we were given later checkout by the front desk. I was trying to squeeze in on last uncovered feeding before we hit the road for several hours of driving. We still had fifteen minutes before we had to be out of the room.

Can I not feed my daughter in peace inside our hotel room before we strap her in to the car? Do you know how uncomfortable it is for her to be draped in a nursing cover on a hot day? Guess not… so I hope he was uncomfortable with the breastfeeding show as I brought it outside in an attempt to get out of the room faster. He looked weirded out by the boobie show. Freaking jerk!

I really like that nursing cover you had. I wish I would have gotten one for Riley. I didn’t know they made stuff like that. I just used a recieving blanket when I nursed him but it fell down alot or Riley would pull it down. When just us where home, I wouldn’t cover up , but when our roomate was home, I felt more comfortable covering myself.
