The Annabel Karmel “Make it Easy” line of food prep and storage containers is super cute and also pretty inventive and handy. I wish I had these when Everly was a baby but an stoked to get to use them with the baby we are expecting.

Making baby food is much cheaper and better for baby but it can often be time comsuming and cause added stress. Things like the Annabel Karmel Mash & Serve Bowl are a great example of how simple products can cut the stress, hassle and even make preparing your own baby food fun.

The mashing bowl is great because you can then skip the food processor and simply mush up fruits and cooked vegetables right there at the table. No electricity needed to run the food processor and in our case way less pieces-parts to clean (like the food processor blades, bowls, lids and what not).

The Fresh Food Mill also doesn’t require electricity to operate and the real bonus is that is removes fruit and vegetable skins (that are hard for baby to chew and digest) plus it mashes and purees things that you wouldn’t necessarily want to use elbow grease trying to mash. I am even considering using it to make our mashed sweet potato bake this thanksgiving! LOL.

I’ll admit I still haven’t tried the Steam Release Micro Dish because I NEVER microwave plastic. It is a BPA free product though and the special feature on this one is the steam release valve that pre-releases steam and then closes back up for an airtight seal afterward.

The most used item to date is the Fill & Freeze Puree Pops because it is so easy and cost effective for us to turn those almost over ripe fruits in to a yummy puree pop for Everly to enjoy while she plays outside. These aren’t your usual popsicle sitck design either. They are perfect for little hands to handle with their thick cut out opening handle. I also really like that the popsicle tops can be snapped apart when you want to get one out and you need to run water over it to get the top to release. You don;t have to wet and defrost all the pops just to get to the one you want to consume.

The Freeze Tray is a typical kitchen staple for baby food making parents and this one is nice because the tray portion isn’t hard so you can literally pop the frozen food out as opposed to cracking and bending hard plastic to remove your frozen food item. I wished the food tray lid was a bit more airtight though. I’ve noticed mine allowing for freezer burning on the top of my frozen stuff.

Like I said in my first post we really like to be able to freeze and save small portions of our dinners for Everly to consume for lunches and dinners later in the week. The freezer tray is another item we use to achieve this and let me tell you it is super easy and makes for less mealtime hassle in our house!

I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for Infantino and have received various Infantino products as part of my participation.
