Not that I’ll be relaxing or anything. It will be nice to have an extra set of hands around here to wrangle Miss Everly though. She’s totally keeping me on my toes these days. No surprise there.

She had her first go at spoon feeding herself friday:

She also took her first fall of the couch (on to pillows, thanks to me). Then she ventured up a few stairs while I was cleaning up cat vomit and she sort of face planted (not on to pillows, just carpet). She’s okay, no bruises or bumps at all. She’s really getting brave and is sort of counting on having us there to literally catch her… She’s learning about gravity and how to proceed with care these days.

She’s been an dancing machine in the afternoons when I play The Fresh Beat Band for her (and her musical puzzle board):

Over the weekend we are planning a theme park trip (to Holiday World) with our neighbors and their twin boys. We are gonna switch off with baby watching and ride riding… Should be fun and crazy at the same time. Also have errands to run, yard work to do and all that fun stuff.
