A quiet Sunday? Ha, ha!!

Our Sunday morning started with one of the cats molesting Everly’s Laugh and Learn puppy in the living room. They are known to kneed and hump her stuffed animals but they have never managed to activate the Laugh and Learn puppy’s features and songs while they molested.

So we hear, “Tummy! Ha, ha That tickles!” then the thing starts sounding like a skipping CD. “Tummy! Ha, ha. Tum-tumm-ha-ha-tummy!” WTF? Those damn cats are gonna wake Everly!

Nathan had to rush down stairs and end the stuffed animal molestation. Then he came back to bed and tried to go back to sleep.

The afternoon was nothing different.

We laid Everly down for a nap and I was trying to nap too because I had a bad headache verging on a migraine… Just as I was dozing off, while Everly was still telling her teddy bear stories one of the cats starts to cry and yowl. I called to him so he would come up stairs to lay with me. Sometimes he cries when he is left alone.

A few minutes later the cat hadn’t come up stairs and I hear this door handle jingling. Damn can jumped up, grabbed the door handle with a paw and opened the door to Everly’s room.

Of course she stands up in her crib and yells “Hey, hi!” Normally this is the greeting we get when we go to get her up. Problem is she’s not been to sleep yet and now she thinks she’s done napping.

Damn cats and their trouble making!
